Pope Francis Link

by Richard Grossinger on December 2, 2013

This is pretty great considering the source. The implicit contradiction in American politics that not only embraces Christianity and capitalism together but treats them as the same thing is going to gag over this and probably find some anti-Francis fallback position. Few hypocrisies have been so blatantly celebrated as the global conflation of corporate wealth, privilege, and greed, with Christian virtue. This is hopefully the start of an Occupy Christianity movement. God knows, Rome has owed the world something for the last 2000+ years.

Morgan Lundy: Love author Richard Grossinger‘s words here, so will pass on.

Cleveland Wilson: Few hypocrisies have been so blatantly celebrated as the global conflation of corporate wealth, privilege, and greed, with Christian virtue. Amen brother.

Michael Gregory Stephens: The contradiction between capitalism and Christianity goes back to the Romans, specifically Constantine.
